Network security company Cyberoam has opened a new office in South Africa, as part of a plan to quickly capture market transitions and deliver innovative solutions in the market.

The new office is located in Fourways Johannesburg.

South Africa is one of the regions of major focus for Cyberoam. In last few months, Cyberoam appointed local channel manager Adrian Anema and presales manager Graeme McMillan. The new recruitment and centrally-located offices are geared to intensify the company’s focus on operational excellence while positioning it as a company that offers strong security while meeting business needs like none.

With presence in more than 125 countries worldwide, Cyberoam is a UTM that specifically caters to the needs of enterprises.
“Network security in South Africa today plays a key role in protecting information assets and driving innovation for organisations. There is a strong demand for Cyberoam solutions,” says Anema.

“With the introduction of NG Series, Virtual UTM Appliance and other solutions, Cyberoam meets the emerging business needs with its gigabit network performance, virtualised security et al, like none. Therefore we need to make quick moves to tap into the huge potential. The time is therefore ripe to accelerate. The new initiatives are steps that match our growth.”
