Plug pulled on IP Expo | Print |  E-mail
Friday, 21 August 2009, 12:09
IP Expo, the technology show launched by Specialised Exhibitions as a replacement for South Africa's longest-running  expo - Computer Faire - has been cancelled.
Reliable sources tell IT-Online that the plug was suddenly pulled on the exhibition, which was scheduled to run on 30 September and 1 October, this morning.
Based on a much-vaunted international model, IP Expo had already attracted some of the biggest tech firms in the country including HP, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Novell and VMware.
At the time of going to press, all attempts to get comment from Specialised Exhibitions had proved fruitless, but we hope to have further updates as more information becomes available.
